Google Indexing Fast.

When I first started making sites, getting them indexed fast was something I enjoyed doing. I tried all types of methods and read of new ways to get them indexed faster. After learning more about how Google indexing works, I am now able to get any site indexed within a day. I will explain how Google crawl sites, index sites and how to get your site indexed fast.

Google bots are always crawling the web looking for new content. The job of a crawler is simply, follow links, copy content, and report back to Google. Sites like Digg.com have crawlers on them 24 hours 365 days a year, following links and collecting content. A site like Digg is always getting new content from all over the web and Google wants to index this new content ASAP. I have found that crawlers usually start at Hub sites (Lager sites that have links flowing in and out) and spread out over the web by follow the links they find. They will eventually find a link to your site and crawl your pages (assuming you have a link). That is the simple explanation to how Google find sites to index.

Google indexing process is pretty complex and only Google knows the formula. What I do know is, there are many filters setup to that helps determine where sites end up in the rankings.

  • Duplicate content filters: These help to rank site that copy content from other sites. I have come to realize that this filter is not very effective. It works, but have many short comings and many scraper sites will out rank the original site. Google has chosen to fix this be putting an emphasis on brand names, sites that are known to provide great content. I can see many flaws in this method, but we will have to wait and see how it goes.

  • Linking Filters: These filters find sites that have unnatural linking patterns. Patterns like, thousands of links with the same anchor text, acquiring thousands of links within a short period, links from non relevant sites, link farms, paid links, links from bad neighborhood sites and many more.

  • Free site Filters: While there is nothing wrong with free sites, Google knows, these are sites that webmasters can use to create a link farm. While some of these sites are trusted authority sites, there are filters in place to keep this behavior under control. Links from these sites tend to have little if and effect on ranking your site.

Like I said before there are many filters in place and this article world turn into a book if I was to list them all. You will learn more about these filters as you gain knowledge and preform your own experiments.

Getting indexed fast is a very simple method that does not require much work. Once your site is up and running, you simply have to let Google know that it exist and the way to do this is by getting link from these hubsites.

Here is how I get my sites indexed fast:

  • Create a Digg account and Digg your own site.

  • Create a yedda account and place your link into the about me section.

  • Submit your URL to Google

  • Claim your site on Technorati.

  • Place a link in your forum signature

Do all of these and you could be indexed within minutes. Make sure you have a xml sitemap in place, so the crawlers will index all your pages on the first visit.

Internet Marketers Worst Nightmare.

I have been busy looking for  a J.O.B to work until I start to make money from my Sites. Since I lost my job at wal-mart I have been filling out applications every and anywhere I can find one to fill out. I have an interview with the dish network company; I will let you know how that goes. All my life I have hated applications and where the have lead me. Since I found Internet marketing I feel like I have found what I have been looking for all my life in terms of making money.

I have a few websites I am working on and have all come to a grinding pause. Google’s sandbox.
What is the infamous sandbox? The short answer is your Site is put on probation by Google spiders for an undetermined period of time to control search engine spam. They will still crawl your Site but will not index it in searches which leads to my problem.

I cannot get to the top of Google is my Site does not get indexed and there is nothing I can do but wait. I still keep them updated and acquire as much anchored backlinks as I can so when they are released backed into the search engine ocean these links will help my rankings. I try to think of it as getting a head start (It doesn’t really work).

There are ways to avoid the sand box, that are not 100% because it’s a hit and miss kind of thing. Meaning you can do everything in your power and still end up in the box. It is all up to big G’s spiders, which Sites go in and which does not. 90% of Site that get put in the box are new Sites like mine that seems to be spammy ( they are legit they just seem spammy).

There is not much I can tell you on the sandbox because I do not know that much about it. Some say it is not even real and others swear that it is real, on one really knows.

I will just have to wait it out and continue to build my Sites and if you find yourself in it.  The best you can do is keep working and try not to let it discourage you. It will all work out in the end.

Internet Marketing Keyword Research.

This should have been the first post on this site because this should be the first part of your internet marketing plan.

What is it you ask? Keyword research.

Before you buy a domain name, setup a blog, start getting backlinks or even write your first post. You should know the keywords you are trying to target. Here are some things you should know:

1) Number of searches your keywords receive per month.
2) The number of pages indexed for your keywords.
3) How many backlinks the top ten Site have.
4) where these links come from and if they are anchored with the keywords
5) How much Google is paying per click and how much affiliates are paying per action.

All these and more will play a big part in your Internet marketing plans and the way you build your Site and how you write your content. Internet marketer must know how to research the niche that you are planning to build a Site for it is the first step.
Let me explain…

THIS IS AN EXAMPLE THE NUMBERS ARE NOT EXACT.

Let say your main keyword is “Glass”.
The number of searches “Glass” receives per month will tell you how big the niche is and if it is worth building a Site for. If your main keyword “Glass” receives 10,000 searches on average per month and you do all the work to get to the top of the SERP’s, you might only get half of these searches if you are lucky. That would be about 5,000 hits to your glass blog every month .

Let’s not forget your longtail keywords “Glass repair service, Glass cutting tools” these get about 2,000 searches each and again you are not likely to receive more than half if you get to the top of the SERP’s for them. Now you have 7,000 hits coming to your Site per month.

Now, getting to the top of Google would be your next concern. You have to know how many pages are indexed in Google for your main keyword and all your longtails. If your main keyword has 1,000,000 pages indexed than you have to beat all these pages to get to the top and same for your longtails.

The number of backlinks the top ten Sites have for the page they have at the top will let you know how many links you need to beat them. The quality of the links they have coming to their page. If the pages linking to them have high Page Rank and if they are using the keywords as the anchor text of the links and only a few links on that page than it will be hard to get pass them, on the other hand if the links are of low quality on low PR pages with no keyword anchor text and many links on the page to other Sites then it will be a lot easier.

Google’s Adword tool can tell you how much a keyword is worth. If the words “Directv Deals” it going for $5 per click then you can expect to get anywhere from 1/2 to 1/4 of that $5. That would be $2.5 to $1.5 per click from you site. If you choose to go with affiliate programs and you can find one that pays $3 per action (THESE ARE ALL EXAMPLES) meaning every time someone from your site completes the the required action you get $3.

Let’s put it all together now. You are getting 7,000 visitors to your site on a monthly basis and the average conversion rate is between 3% and 5% so we’ll just say your getting 4%. So, 4% of 7,000 is 280 visitors clicking on your links and you are getting $1.5 per click that would equal to $420 per month (AGAIN THIS IS AN EXAMPLE).

Now you know:
1) How many hits you can expect.
2) How hard it will be to get to the to.
3) How many links it will take to get you to the top and what kind of links you will need.
4) How much you can expect to get paid.
5) The keywords you should have in your domain name.
It will be much easier to build your site and write keyword filled content.

There is more to Keyword research, but this is a Internet marketers Blog for beginners so we will leave the advance stuff for later. Build a foundation by learning the basics first this is always the best way to build a business.

Keyword research is the first step when building a blog. It will give you a quick insite into the niche you are looking to target. Take the time and do the research or you will be flying blind and have to play catch up later.
