Ever wondered why it as so hard to reach your goals? You work and work and work, just to find out that you have to work much harder for much longer. I use to think that if I build a website that people would just come to see what I had written, then I found out that I had to promote said site, then I found out that there are good and bad ways to promote my site. After learning the good ways, I then realized that I still had to learn the bad ways in order to avid them, then I found out that the good ways are much harder and would take much longer to payoff. All this time I still had to maintain my site with constant updates, interacting with readers, and answering questions.

One day I was sitting in the park thinking about the next phase of my plans for my sites and say two trees, one next to the other. One was huge and obviously been there for decades and the other was small and probably only a few years old. I started to wonder about how long and how much the larger tree had to endure to get to that size, then it hit me like a the tree just fell right on top of me. I have only been working on my business for about a year ( I was the small tree) and it would take many more years and more hard work to reach the size of the other tree.

I wanted to talk before I learned the language, to walk before I learned to use my legs. Learning the good and the bad ways to promote my sites has helped me to reach where I am now and I have more to learn before I reach where I really want to be.

LESSON OF THE DAY:

Since I was 14, I have wanted to own my own business. I didn’t want to be rich just wanted to be a business owner. I had my first taste of being a leader and I fell in love, I loved being in charge and solving problems. I had no idea what type of business I wanted to build, so I dipped my hand into many things, but never found what I was looking for. I told my friend and family about the things I wanted to do and they would give there input. I would try to incorporate their advice into my plans, but it never worked out. It was not until I had no one to share my ideas with did I not only found a business I liked enough to start, but put in the hard work to get it off the ground.

It only took me 18 years to figure out why I would never finish what I started. I was trying to build what I thought, other people thought was my idea ( if that made sense). When I started my first website I only had my ideas, no one to bounce it off, no advice from family or friends, and I purposely did not follow other that had similar business because I hate to follow. I just made a plan and went to work on it.

MY POINT
Studies have proven that people who share there ideas are less likely to do the work to make it a reality. You can bounce your ideas off a million people and will end up with a million reasons to delay. Your idea does not have to be a good (there is always time to shape it) for it to be successful, but you have to actually do the work to make it successful. Look at all the bad Ideas you see around you making millions of dollars everyday. Don’t even look at the competition, so what they are doing it and have been doing it for 30 generations. They cannot do it the way you will and people love variety, they love to have choices. You don’t need the entire PIE just a slice.

If you have an idea that you think will work, most likely it will. It’s like the saying goes ” where there’s a will there’s a way.” Don’t over-think the idea either, learn what you need to get an understanding of your market and make your plans. Once you start you will find more information, people, and businesses that will help you. Don’t be afraid to make mistakes it is a natural part of learning.

LESSON FOR THE DAY:

Don’t let others talk you out of your ideas, directly of indirectly.

FOR SOME REASON THE IMAGE FOR THIS POST IS NOT WORKING.

I want this post to be a wakeup call! I want you to take an inventory of your dreams, your goals, and your current situation.

Where are you in life? I know most of us had plans and dreams when we were younger. I sure did. I wanted to have a successful business by the time I was 25. I am now 32 and while I’ve found my stride, I am not even close. In fact it has only been 2 years since I found what I love to do and a way to make a living doing it. So don’t feel bad if you are no where close to where you want to be. As long as you are physically able to do what you want it’s not too late.

Anyway, I want you to take a look around you (literally, look around) and take inventory of what you have and what you want. If you are happy with what you see then consider yourself fortunate. If on the other hand you are not, don’t panic, this is why you are reading this blog. We ( the community) are here to encourage you to make small changes that will lead you in the direction you want to go. But in order to get there you have to know and really believe you can make it there.

Now think ( realistically ) of how you want to live your life. Don’t think about the things you want like a car or a house of any material things. Think of where you want to be, weather you live in a shack or a mansion, imagine the place, the breeze, smell, try to live it in your mind. Now try to fit all the things you love in your little dream world. Family, friends, hobbies, and anything you feel you can’t live without. If your really want change you have to make change, it’s that simple.

You might feel like you have too much to deal with already, but if you do nothing than nothing will change. Make the time, cut out a few things here and there to learn something that will help you get to your dreams. I made drastic changes to my life to get where I want to be and with hard work, it paid off. You may have your reasons why you cannot make drastic changes, but your changes do not have to be drastic. Think of the possibilities then think of your reality, If you can live with it the by all means continue, but if your really want to change then changes have to be made.

I am not trying to sell you a dream, what I am trying to sell you is the a spark to re-light your dream and help you get you there. Over the course of the next few months I plan to share whit you, everything I know and hope you follow along and use it to start your own on-line business. All I can do is share my knowledge and try to encourage you to take action, you have to do the rest.

LESSON FOR THE DAY:

KNOW WHERE YOU ARE AND WHERE YOU REALLY WANT TO BE.

I have been making money on the Internet for about 2 years now and have tried many things to earn a few dollars. Needless to say, most of them were complete failures. I have however, had a fair amount of successful ventures in between all those flops and have gained much knowledge as well. While I am not going to expose most of my sites, I will tell you about the latest one I am working on. Why? because I want people to see for themselves that building a legitimate business on the web is very possible.

The site is Digizaar.net

It is still in the development stage, but I expect to have my grand opening very soon. Digizaar is a site that will connect people looking for services and service providers together. It is built on the WordPress platform as all my other sites. At the moment I do not have any members signed-up and have not promoted it except for building a Facebook and Twitter profile for it. I do not intent spend any money promoting, only good old fashion hard work. Only once it is able to pay for it’s own advertising will I spend money promoting it. I want to show the progress from the start to what I deem a success for this site. I plan to share ( in detail ) what I do and how I do it on this blog. You are welcome to use any of what I will share on your own blog.

Please do not think that this blog will only be about digizaar and making a living on-line. I will be discussing many more topics such as launching your own products, how to attain the life you dream of, build passive income, and whatever else you me to write about. Speaking of what you want to discuss, feel free to contact me with you question, feedback, or just to say hi. I love to help people and have much knowledge to share.

Changing your life is not as hard as it may seems, really its not. What is hard is coming to the decision that you will do something to change your life. We are humans and we are creatures of habit, built to find what works for us and stick with it , no matter how uncomfortable it is. It is only once we discover that we truly hate what we do or have no choice but to change, that we start to make changes.

I had to learn this the hard way and along the line I realized that changing my life for the better was not as hard as I thought. I wanted to build a website and hopefully build it into a business and I am doing it as I write this. I want to live in Florida and without a dime to my name ( Literally ) I took all I could fit in a backpack and moved. There are many other things I want to do and I now know that all I have to do is Swoosh (Just do it).

I am not saying you have to quit your job are pack up and move, but living the life you dream for yourself is only scary when your looking at what you have to do to live it. They say entrepreneurs don’t look at the problems, only the solutions and I’ll be the first to admit that building a business is never easy, but the ride is always interesting. If you want to do something stop thinking of what you have to do to make it happen and make it happen. Really, stop thinking about doing it. If it doesn’t workout, your old life will be there waiting for you with open arms.

LESSON OF THE DAY:

JUST DO IT!
